- Loose hinges or handles on doors or windows and worn sliding tracks.
- Cracks in the wall from movement.
- A broken lock because of age and long-term use.
- Flaking paint because it is old or was applied poorly before the current tenant entered the property.
- Water stains on carpet from rain caused by a leaking roof or bad plumbing.
Tip
A tenant may need proof to show that they contacted the appropriate repair company or repair person to try and have the leaks and other issues fixed.
