At Snug, our vision is to create a place everyone calls home.
We've worked with providers in the affordable housing space to create range of solutions for affordable housing providers that help deliver: housing access and equality of opportunity as well as business efficiency.

ID management
Rather than receive uploaded Identity, clients can reduce risk by enabling Sighted ID.
How does it works? Applicants click to confirm they are willing and able to provide 100 points of ID in the office should they be selected as an approved applicant.
A team admin can enable this for all new applications received.

Affordable housing categories
Via the property onlist, a property can be allocated to Affordable, Social, NRAS or Market category.
Application Attachments
Attachments can be added to the workflow on a housing category basis for prospective renters from enquiry through application. This feature is great for NRAS .pdf declarations or other supporting information.
Applicant Disclosures
Additional disclosures regarding property ownership, statement of indigenous status, related to director or employee of the housing provider can be set as mandatory. Learn more
Anniversary Assessment (coming soon)
Send an Anniversary Assessment at 10 months prior to first lease expiry to current tenants within a housing category. This enables the tenant to reuse their Snug profile to submit an application based on the income eligibility for lease renewal. The housing provide receives the applications and can reassess the eligibility of the current tenant within the program.
Income tables can be activated via the Onlist per property.
> Snug technical support can help turn on these features:
Income Eligibility
Gross Income tables with adults/children calculations can be uploaded to enable applicants to be screened based on income eligibility requirements for housing categories eg. CY2023 NSW Affordable Housing, or CY2022 NRAS. When an applicant enters their details the income will be displayed and the applicant can confirm to proceed through the application.
Ballots
A random ballot process can be enabled for a team by a team administrator. Once enabled, balloting can be activated in the selected property's Onlist.
- Ballot Rules: Ballot Rules in text form can be loaded.
- Ballot Eligibility: Criteria such as "Must be an Australian Resident" can be set as eligibility to enter the Ballot.
- Ballot Communications: Template messages for broadcast communication to the Ballot entrants can be uploaded, such as "You have been selected" or "Unfortunately you were not successful in the ballot, please view our other properties"
