Importance of Address History

Providing your prior address history is crucial for rental applications as it forms part of your rental history. Snug simplifies adding this information and allows sharing it with co-applicants, which helps speed up application processing and referencing.

Adding Address History to Your Profile

1. Navigate to the Address History section within your Snug profile (either while editing your profile or during an application).
2. Follow the prompts to add details for each previous address.
3. Select the appropriate living arrangement for each address (e.g., renting, owned, boarded).

Sharing Address History with Co-Applicants

Sharing address history allows co-applicants (like housemates who lived with you) to easily add the same address details to their profiles without re-entering everything.

How to Share:

1. When adding an address in the Address History section, you’ll be asked if other tenants lived there. Select “Yes”.
2. Add the contact details (name, email, mobile) for each co-applicant you want to share with. You can add multiple people.
3. Click the “Share” option next to the co-applicant(s) you wish to invite.

What Happens Next:

• The invited co-applicant receives an email notification.
• They can then choose to Accept or Decline adding the shared address history to their own Snug profile.

Q: If I remove a shared address history from my profile after someone has accepted it, will it be removed from their profile too?

• A: No. Removing a shared address from your profile only affects your own profile and prevents future acceptances from pending invitations for that specific share instance. It does not remove the address history from the profiles of co-applicants who have already accepted the share.
