Introduction
This guide provides details about how to register a user account for Snug. User accounts can be registered via:

Register with Email
To register an account using your email address:
- Visit app.snug.com/register and fill in the details, ensuring the mobile number and email address are correct and click "I'm not a robot" and "Join Snug"
- Enter the SMS verification code sent to the provided mobile number and click "Verify"

Register with Google
If you have an existing Google account, you can use this account to register and log in, reducing the need to manage a separate password. To register an account using your Google account:
- Visit app.snug.com/register and click the "Google" button at the bottom of the form
- Enter the account the details, ensuring the name, mobile number and email address are correct and click "I'm not a robot" and "Join Snug"
- Enter the SMS verification code sent to the provided mobile number and click "Verify"

Register with Facebook
If you have an existing Facebook account, you can use this account to register and log in, reducing the need to manage a separate password. To register an account using your Facebook account:
- Visit app.snug.com/register and click the "Facebook" button at the bottom of the form
- Enter the account the details, ensuring the name, mobile number and email address are correct and click "I'm not a robot" and "Register"
- Enter the SMS verification code sent to the provided mobile number and click "Verify"

Troubleshooting
Question: Why does my received verification code not work?
Answer: The verification code is valid for a short period of time, please ensure you enter the code immediately upon receipt.
Question: I did not receive a verification code to my mobile phone. How do I verify my account?
Answer:
- Please log in (NOTE: please use the same channel you used when registering e.g. email or Google) and click the "Resend SMS" link when prompted to verify the account.
- If not received, restart your phone, ensure that your phone account is receiving other SMS/messages from other sources and your number is active with your provider / has enough credit if a PAYG phone.
- Ensure that messages from Snug are not blocked or filtered (iOS / Apple or Android / Google)

Question: I have previously registered and it now says I need to verify my account?
Answer: Please ensure that you're logging in using the original method used to register. E.g. if registered with Google, please log in with Google, if Facebook, log in with Facebook etc.
Question: How do I resend the SMS verification code if I didn't receive it or did not enter it within the time limit?
Answer: Please log in (using the same channel you used when registering e.g. email or Google) and click the "Resend SMS" link when prompted to verify the account.
