Overview
Following Victorian rental reforms, rental properties must be listed with a fixed advertised price. Price ranges are no longer permitted.
How to guide
- List your property with a single advertised price (no price ranges).
- Lease Offers must be equal to or below the advertised price.
- Application Details / Edit Summary will prevent rent adjustments above the advertised price.
- To update the price, use your property uploader or Snug's Edit Property function.
How to resolve a Lease Offer error
- Check the advertised price on your listing.
- Adjust the Lease Offer rental price equal or below the advertised price.
- If the rent has changed, update the advertised price first, then resend the Lease Offer.
Example: If your property is advertised at $500/week but you submit a Lease Offer for $520/week, an error will display. Lower the offer or update the advertised price first.
