Snug makes rental references easy for both renters and referees. When a property manager requests a reference, referees receive a short questionnaire to complete online.
What questions are asked?
The rental reference questionnaire typically includes:
- The rent amount paid by the renter
- Whether the renter was on the lease
- The term (length) of the lease
- Any positive or negative feedback about the renter’s tenancy
- Option for the referee to state their preferred contact method if they wish to be contacted directly
How does it work?
- The property manager sends a reference request via Snug.
- The referee receives an email with a link to the questionnaire.
- The referee answers the questions and submits the form online.
- If the referee prefers, they can note in the form that they wish to be contacted directly by the property manager.
