Under certain circumstances it might be difficult for Snug to automatically identify the appropriate property to route enquiries to. Examples include where properties might be listed without a complete address or housing estates / multi-residential apartments where a developer may wish to lease multiple similar apartments on Snug.
Snug provides a facility to add or update routing through external listing identifiers.
How to add external listing identifiers
- Login to your Snug Team account -> My Team
- Click the context menu (...) against a property and select Edit Onlist Details
- Step through to Onlist details page (step 3)
- Under External Listing Identifiers, add or edit the listing identifer. Select the source (e.g. Domain.com.au), Agency ID for the portal/uploader and the listing identifier
- Save information
NOTE: to route portal enquiries, the Agency ID should be set to to the Snug Team ID for the team, not the Agency ID for the portal. The Snug Team ID can be found in the team status in Settings.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I get my Agency ID from a portal or uploader?
A: This is typically available in your Agency Admin tool for the portal or uploader. If you're unsure, contact your portal / uploader to confirm. It is typically an alphanumeric set of characters 3 - 8 characters long, e.g. 3XAMPL3
Q: How do I get the listing identifier?
A: If the listing is from a portal, it is typically the last characters on the listing URL. If it's the listing identifier from a property uploader, this will be visible somewhere in the uploader. If unsure, please contact the uploader to confirm.
