Snug provides a flexible range of options for Property Managers to configure how notifications about enquiries, viewings and applications can be configured.
Configuring your communication preferences
Please select from the following options for updating your communication preferences.
- Associating a team member to a property to receive activity notifications
- Preferences for enquiry autoresponder and viewing registration notices
- Default contact details
Associating a team member to a property
The published listing agent (e.g. on the Domain.com.au listing) is used to assign to the team member on Snug. The associated team member will receive notifications about activity related to enquiries, viewings and applications.
To update the associated team member:
- Ensure that there is a Team Member matching your listing profile My Team -> Settings -> Team -> Members
- Republish your property through your property uploader, e.g. MyDesktop (upload times vary up to about 60 minutes)
- Check the property is associated to the correct team member
NOTE:
If there are no team members that match the public listing agent details, Snug will attempt a series of fallbacks to make sure that the notifications are delivered to a team member. The following fallbacks are used if a matching team member is not available:
- Default contact details
- First team member with the Admin role
Default contact details
Snug supports associating with a single set of contact details when they are not registered as a team member. The default contact details are also used as fallback contact details. Please submit a request to update your team default contact details, please include:
- Name
- Email address
- Mobile number (required but not published)
NOTE: If the default contact details are assigned to a property, these details are not a user in the team and will not:
- Synchronise calendar invites
- Allow personal notification settings
Troubleshooting
Question: I have republished the properties but the listing agent on Snug hasn't changed
Answer: Please ensure there was a small update (e.g. adding a full stop) was made to the listing to force the listing to be published
Question: Why am I still receiving enquiry notifications when I can I have turned them off in my settings?
Answer: If you have a default listing contact configured for your team (e.g. when you'd like to specify a listing profile name on Snug that is different to any of your team members), your personal preferences do not apply. Please contact help@snug.com for more guidance.
