How is the rent that is sent to the PMS calculated?
Each PMS is different in what they request is sent across, but generally it's all reflected as a weekly rent payment. Snug calculates weekly, fortnightly and monthly payments as follows:
- Weekly: weekly rent (standard value in Snug)
- Fortnightly: weekly rent x 2
- Monthly: ((weekly rent / 7 - daily rent) x 365 - annual rent) / 12 - monthly rent
Why is the rent in the shown in the PMS different to the first payment on the Lease Offer?
The first typically reflects the settings in the lease offer and team settings (e.g. rounding). The rent amount is calculated as per the rent calculation noted above.
